How to make farm for prawn culture?
Regularly in a selected tract nursery, breeding ponds, production of juveniles ponds, rushing of water canal, outlets, prawns growth logistics and the food hold buildings and these things will be there is called farm.
The prawn growth for making a farm should be widely around 5 to 10hectares. Prawn farm is close towards the brackish river, during the flood season and we have to protect around with a dam.
The height of dam should be at least one meter from the river flood of base water. The upper level of dam height should be same. The dam inside and outside slopes of forecasting is in the size of ratio from 1:2 to 1:4. The soil that is used for making dam should be with the caught ability, it should obstruct the leakage of water in sideways. In soil roots, tree sticks and stem should be avoided. If it is available it will create damage to the dam.
The pond digging soil can be used for building the dam at the same time we cannot do our work to built the dam. While building the house we should assure the building to see that each building should happen like the same. The making of first dam region should stick by identifying and that should be tight and joined together. After that in the making of dam if any clay or plants should be there we have to remove it. The soil which is exited out from the pond should uniformly spread in the region with the height of one or one and half and after that we should tight and wet the part by using stump and rollers. After that the second time the exited out soil should be rowed and spread it to the upper of dam, before we started to do like that in the upper part of wet ridge we should strew some little water of that place and should partly save that place. Like this kinds of works should not be done at the each part it should be in four parts and continued by uniformly. Like this kinds of building dam should not broken easily.
In the outer slope of dam we can fit granite stone and make it ensure. In Japan country inside part of the dam they are using asbestos sheets and making them strong. In country of Taiwan the inside part of dam they are using brick. We can use which will be low in cost and strong that should be used. The outside part of the dam should built by using “mangrove” trees.
