Growth of Prawns based on sizes by period

Necessary heat, best quality of water, fertile food, proportionate oxygen and brackish water spread is seen here the juveniles will be grown very well. During young season their growth can be grown faster. Their growth will be reduced in sea compare to estuaries. In southern seashore part of India white prawns month growth will be (5.2 to5.7 mm). In eastern India (15.0 mm-30 0mm) here in brackish water their growth can be seen well. The male and female prawn average growth speed will increase in month from (15mm to 20mm).

Like fin fishes, prawns growth and Moulting will be related to this. These can be grown partly then the growth of each stage the smoothing body, the shell which is covered should be removed if it won’t then the growth is not possible. Therefore continuously the growth happen, the old shell has to be removed according to this the new shell will be appeared and we call it as Moulting. Like the old has gone and the new one has arrived will be happened continuously and the removed shell can be call it as Moulting.
