Structure of prawns

Prawns have a big head, a lengthy curved body shape and a tail.  In head within the stalks, a pair of eyes, a small and a big perceive staple is a major part of prawns.  The head part is covered by a shell called Carapace.  There is a lengthy Rostrum in the head shell and the actual tooth of the rostrum is called Rostral teeth.  While counting these teeth we can find out what type of prawns it depends on.  In white prawns the upside of rostrum contains 8-9 teeth at sometimes it may be only 7 and there are 4-5 teeth in downside.

The prawns do not have a neck part like us which is connected between the head and body.  The body part is totally contains 6 segments.  The prawn smooth body is covered by a strong shell called exoskeleton.  While seen in fishes, the scales are used to cover the shell in Molluscs and it can be used for the protection of prawns.  Though there is a Telson in the last segment part of a tail in the body.  The benefit of a tail part is used to swim and to return in direction.

Like fishes prawns don’t have fins which used to help for swimming.  But the five pairs of swimming legs have been seen in fishes.  Like this, prawns have five pairs of walking legs which fish does not have.  By using this they can walk under the sea to the search of prey.  The front legs are used to capture and have the food these actions can be watch out in fish tank it seems like the effect of monkey’s front leg.

If something is going to happen they suddenly rushed to jump out like a bullet which is ready to shoot out from the gun.  Compare to fish, prawns have more speed.  The Rostral teeth leads to hurt in grown up prawns the Rostrum can be seen so we have to capture it carefully.

Mostly prawns are look same as like but there are different kinds of prawns separated in a sexual like male and female.  We can find out the male prawns by the identity of the part like Patasma we can also find out the female prawns by the identity of the part like Thelycum.  Female prawn grows larger than male prawn.
