Pond Construction in Prawn Culture
The prawn growing ponds should make in the shape of square. The circle shape pond is useless. The best way for fishing is net square shape than the lengthy square shape. Like this kinds of pond should be less than 0.70m and more than 1.0m should be stand more than 0.50m. In the middle of pond connected ridges should be there and in this method we should see from the ridge of the upper base level the pond depth should be maximum 1.50m.

The pond base level it will be loosen like mangrove fields and it will easy to capture the prawns.
If we planned to make a big farm, instead of using hoe to dig the pond we should carry on the work by using shovel.
